Danii & AJ’s Bowral Wedding

When AJ asked Danii to marry him, he had already booked the venue and the date for their wedding in Bowral.

Hehe when you know, you know, right?

A big thanks to Donna Carroll for helping me capture the day.

Anna, Amy & Jasper – Sydney Family Photography

I love indoor family sessions – it doesn’t matter how miserable it is outside, it makes the family session seem all the snugglier and cosier.

Jasper is a lucky little guy to have two such kind and amazing Mamas by his side.  I can’t wait to see them all again when he becomes a big brother! <3

Mel & Wayne’s Jervis Bay Wedding

Ok, so I’m normally pretty restrained when I do my blog posts.  I’m really conscious of not wanting to indulge myself too much and overload everyone with too many images.

Well, prepare to be overloaded… this time I don’t care.  Mel and Wayne’s wedding was absolutely epic.  So much love.  So many feels.  So much beauty.  I want to share it all with you.

This is gonna be a big post people, so make yourself comfy, and get ready for a beautiful love story.

Jackie & Adam’s Session

Jackie, Adam & I got so lucky with the weather for our session together – behind us were these crazy storm clouds, but ahead there was nothing but gentle blue skies.

It was hot and it was sticky – the kind of afternoon that Sydney does really well during Summer, so we didn’t waste any time and got into the ocean for the remainder of our session.  Yep, me too.  With my big girl camera and all.

It was so good and totally worth the drive home in dripping wet clothes haha.

Nina & Rob’s Sydney wedding

Nina and Rob are two of the most tremendously gorgeous people, inside and out.  Seriously.

With so many people coming to join them from New Zealand, Holland and all over the globe, they were determined to spend as much time as possible on their wedding day celebrating with their friends and family.

We’d had a killer engagement session together a few weeks beforehand (which you can see here), so today was to be all about the party.  The dance floor was heaving and all kinds of amazing.  I knew it was going to be one hell of a hootenanny when the bridal party all swapped out their heels for trainers.  And Nina’s pristine bridal cons….sigh, love.

Ceremony – Centennial Parklands

Kimberley’s family – Sydney family lifestyle photography

Kimberley and her family were about to leave their inner Sydney home, and move to regional NSW.  Before they set off on this amazing adventure, Kimberley wanted to have one last session in their home in Marrickville to remember it by.

We had an epic session at their home hanging out, doing all the stuff Kimberley and her family normally do together.  There was even a PlayDoh love story at the end (spoiler alert…Mr & Mrs Potato Head make-out!)

This is what life’s all about – the good stuff.  The moments in between.  The beautiful ordinary.

Enjoy the pictures, and then go out and do something today that makes you smile x

Aleks & Thomas’ Blue Mountains Wedding

It was a vintage inspired wedding for Aleks & Thomas in the gorgeous Blue Mountains.

Did I mention Aleks has the voice of an angel? She sang a surprise rendition of “I wanna hold your hand” for Thomas at their reception which brought the house down…in German no less (his native tongue).

A special night I won’t forget any time soon x

Larissa, Jeremy & Zach – Sydney Family Lifestyle Photography

This session for Larissa and her family was full of my favourite things to do – spend time together at home and then go for a little explore together outside.  As parents, it tends to be the little everyday things that slip through our memories as our children grow – feeding them, bathing them etc.  We all get caught up on the big moments, the milestones in our lives.  These are important, no doubt.  But I find it’s the quiet moments, the moments in between, that can sometimes be the most meaningful

2017

Wow.  Seriously.  What a year 2017 has been!  It’s been my biggest year so far and with no signs of slowing and I have you guys to thank for that.

I’ve travelled to some insanely beautiful locations to shoot some pretty amazing people.  You’ve invited me into your lives to share in some of your giddying highs, and also some heart-breaking lows.

You are nothing short of AMAZING.  Thank you from the bottom of my over-flowing heart.

Here’s to a kick-arse 2018.  I hope you enjoy the highlights from the year that was xxx

Josie & Jason’s Sydney Wedding

Josie is Italian.  Jason is Irish. To say their wedding was a celebration would be understatement.

These two life-loving people had a really beautiful, rustic winter ceremony for close family and friends at Centennial Park, followed by a kick-up-your-heels hootenanny at The Gunners in Mosman.

The laughter and celebration flowed freely all night for these two.  Thanks for an amazing night J&J – I laughed so much I thought my face would fall off!
